What path led you to do this work?
Having led and scaled a number of teams — both at Fortune 500 companies and startups — I’ve seen first hand the challenges of driving change. And I thought that there had to be a better way to help organizations grow. Having personally seen the power of working with wise coaches and facilitators, it led me down a path of personal leadership development, and ultimately to do this work.
What are you passionate about?
Working with leaders to bring about change within themselves, and within their organizations. I’ve found that leaders who have gone through periods of challenge (personally &/or professionally) are usually the ones most ready to make significant changes that lead to not only higher levels of performance, but also more human and authentic workplaces.
What are your areas of expertise?
I bring a unique blend of experiences in strategy (having been a former McKinsey consultant), product development (having led product and engineering teams at companies like Evernote), and behavior design / culture change (as a leadership and organizational coach).
What book do you recommend most often?
The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership by Jim Dethmer, Diana Chapman and Kaley Warner Klemp. It’s one of the most practical frameworks I’ve found for walking the talk as a leader; and they’re also principles for life well lived.
What 3 words best describe you?
Insightful, thoughtful and curious
What unusual things might not be obvious about you?
I am passionate about great food, went to cooking school, and even spent time as a restaurant critic in a previous life!
